DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for St. Joe and Branch counties until 10 AM.  Dense fog has already been observed in many cities in West Michigan including Kalamazoo.  The ADVISORY may be expanded to include more counties.  Burning off fog this time of year is tough thanks to a low sun angle.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.

21-yr old crash victim remembered as 'one of a kind'

TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Ottawa County Sheriff's Deputies confirm a 21 year old driver in a rollover crash has died.

Deputies say Evan Westrate, from Marne, was ejected from his truck after it rolled while taking a curve too fast.

It happened Saturday, July 26th around 9:30pm on Luce Street west of 8th Avenue.

Friends on social media are offering their condolences saying Evan was "one of a kind".

Westrate was a graduate of Unity Christian High School in Hudsonville and played Football at Dordt College in Iowa.

Deputies are citing alcohol and speed as factors in the crash.
