BYRON CENTER, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – For the second time today, fire crews are responding to the 4600 block of 76th Street SW in Byron Township.

Fire crews had previously responded to the address around 3:30 pm Tuesday.

Family members say the fire likely started when a recessed light in an upstairs closet got too hot.

Everyone, including the family’s pets was able to make it out safely.
