Former assistant prosecutor arrested on criminal sexual conduct charges Updated: Tuesday, July 15, 2014 KENT COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A former Kent County assistant prosecutor is under arrest, accused of criminal sexual conduct. Jail records show that Mark Vandermolen was arrested on Tuesday and is being held at the Kent County jail awaiting arraignment. Police records show that he was arrested on two counts of felony sexual assault. Vandermolen was an assistant prosecutor with the Kent County prosecutor’s office. He retired in 2010.
