WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - If you're in search of a job, you're in luck. Three career fairs will be held right here in West Michigan starting Friday.

More than 25 employers will be accepting resumes during Friday's "Hiring Our Heroes" job fair.

It's part of a national campaign called Hiring 500,000 Heroes and was launched to encourage businesses to hire more military spouses and veterans.

That's happening at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor from 10am to 2pm.

American Axle and Manufacturing in Three Rivers is looking to hire nearly 500 hourly factory workers.

The company will be hosting their career fair Saturday.

They started hiring people in January and are bringing in 20 to 40 positions a week until August.

That career fair is set for 9am until 1pm Saturday at the Kalamazoo County Michigan Works Service Center.

Another job fair taking place Saturday is looking to hire 100 positions at the Four Winds Dowagiac, which is set to open this year.

The areas they are looking to fill include food and beverage and hospitality.

That fair will take place at Dowagiac Middle School from 10am until 2pm.
