Agema stirs up controversy again over homosexuality

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema is stirring up controversy for the second time in less than a month.
In March, he posted an article to his Facebook page criticizing the lifestyles of gay people.
Now, he's comparing homosexuality to alcoholism, claiming it leads to drug abuse.
During a radio interview Thursday afternoon, Agema stressed that he doesn't hate gay people, but that the religious community has an obligation to educate them about the hazards of homosexuality.
Some Republicans in Michigan called for Agema's resignation after his initial comments last month, but he refuses.
Agema says he stands by his beliefs.
