KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Department of Natural Resources is cracking down on poaching in Kalamazoo County.
The DNR just arrested Justin Neel of Galesburg, for illegally taking two turkeys and two deer during the 2012 hunting season.
Neel already had his hunting privileges revoked for three years after he took a deer illegally during the same hunting season.
The DNR also arrested two other men for poaching after a year-long investigation led them to two homes, one in Galesburg, the other in Richland.
Inside, they found two-dozen animals.
Their names are being withheld, pending arraignment.
