GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A father, convicted of abusing his own 3-week-old son has been found guilty again for injuring his infant daughter.

Friday, a jury convicted Ryan Kupres of first-degree child abuse for the second time.

He's accused of shaking his 5-month old daughter Layla last March in Jenison.

Doctors say Layla suffered several broken bones, as well as bleeding on her brain and along her spinal cord.

Four years ago, Kupres was found guilty of injuring his infant son Connor.

Both children have since recovered.

Kupres will be sentenced in April.
