KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - As Stephanie Janssen continues the long path of recovery, her family has set up a fund in her name to help cover her medical costs.
The account, named 'Be Her Voice,' is set up at Honor Credit Union in Dowagiac.
Janssen is still recovering following an alleged attack from her then-boyfriend, 41-year-old Arthur Payne, which kicked off a manhunt that lasted several days until Payne was captured in Indiana.
Payne was arraigned in Kalamazoo on April 5th, on charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and aggravated domestic violence.
