GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Grand Rapids Public Schools and Spectrum Health are joining forces to get kids moving.
The partnership announced a new children's exercise competition Wednesday.
It's called Jump Jam and is open exclusively to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Grand Rapids Public School students.
The goal is to promote health and wellness by creating an activity that kids can do easily and cheaply at home and at school.
More than 600 students have signed up for the competition, which takes place Saturday April 20th at the DeVos Place.
