HOLLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A West Michigan community is receiving a federal grant to help find jobs for ex-convicts.

The U.S. Department of Labor announced Thursday that it will be awarding $74 million in grants to more than 3 dozen cities, and Holland is one of them.

Holland will receive $2 million to provide a range of services that includes case management, mentoring, education, and training for former prisoners.

The Department of Labor hopes the program will successfully re-integrate those who were in the justice system back into their communities.
