PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Portage Public Schools is once again looking for a new human resources director.
The district confirmed to Newschannel 3 Wednesday that interim human resources director Mark Love has resigned after a month on the job, effective Monday, April 8th.
Love replaced former Portage Public Schools Human Resources Director Patricia Koeze, who left the district in late January following accusations that she had an affair with then-Superintendent Ric Perry.
In an email to Newschannel 3, district spokesperson Sarah Baker cited "personal reasons," as the cause of Love's departure.
Baker added that until the role is filled, "Superintendent (Rob) Olsen will continue to manage the human resources department."
