KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We've all heard the saying that April showers bring May flowers, but what about April snow?
After last year's early warm-up, this year it feels like spring is dragging its feet.
Recently, an Ohio prosecutor even threatened to seek the death penalty against Punxsutawney Phil for predicting an early spring on Groundhog Day.
Although he's since abandoned his tongue-in-cheek push against the furry animal, here in West Michigan there are other signs that spring is running slow.
Lead Interpretive Naturalist Dan Keto from the Kalamazoo Nature Center joined us in the studio to clue us in on just what those signs are.
