KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Kalamazoo man is behind bars after officers caught him with a meth lab in his coat.

KVET was about to raid a home on Coddington Lane Thursday when they spotted the suspect leaving the home. Officers discovered a one pot meth lab under his coat along with the finished product and some marijuana.

When officers went inside the home they found a woman and her two children. Child Protective Services removed those kids from the house after meth and other drug paraphernalia was also found inside the home.

The male suspect is in the county jail Friday morning on multiple drug charges.

Investigators say they are seeking charges against the woman in the home as well.
