WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

The National Weather Service maintains a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in Barry, Calhoun, Eaton, and Jackson counties for freezing drizzle and slippery roads.  Freezing drizzle and some tricky spots were also observed in Kalamazoo county.  The ADVISORY expires at 8 AM, but freezing drizzle may linger until late morning.  Please be cautious, and have a safe morning commute.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A growing, vibrant downtown Kalamazoo may be too much of a good thing.

City leaders will consider a request Monday night to form a task force on downtown noise.

One proposal calls for a curfew on events at Arcadia Creek Festival Place.

Mayor Bobby Hopewell wants a task force to study the impact of late night festival noise downtown.

We'll keep you posted if Kalamazoo City Commissioners go along with the mayor's idea.
