KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Bob Medema was beaten to death inside his home back in August. He owned the Emporium Antiques Shop in downtown Kalamazoo.

Antonio Livingston and John Aguilar are charged with killing him. Livingston is the first to stand trial.

An evidence technician took the stand Thursday morning. The testimony revolved around the crime scene and how Bob Medema died.

A crime scene technician took the stand to show pictures of the scene. He is an expert in blood spatter analysis and explained to jurors that Medema was hit with an object, probably the baseball bat found laying next to him, at least three times.

He also explained that Medema's feet were tied with a cord and he was laying on the ground or on his hands and knees when he was hit and killed.

We will continue to follow this trial until its completion.
