DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for our Indiana bordering counties of Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch.  It doesn't mean it won't be foggy there!  The combination of yesterday evening's rainfall, light winds while you were sleeping, and our unusually cool airmass is a near perfect recipe for visibilities under a mile and perhaps as low as 1/4 mile.  This is enough to change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning, and slow it down if you can.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather!

One man in custody following chase & crash in Kalamazoo Township

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - One man is in custody this morning following a high speed chase and crash.

Police say it started when an officer attempted to pull a vehicle over on the East side of the township, but the driver took off.

The chase ended in the 1,100 block of Bridge Street in Kalamazoo when the suspect slammed into a parked SUV, jumped the curb and came to rest against a brick house.

The driver then took off on foot but police caught up to him quickly and took him into custody.

No one was injured in the incident, and there was no damage to the house.
