LUDINGTON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Authorities investigating the 2011 disappearance of Katherine Phillips are getting ready to release new information.
Police in Ludington will hold a news conference Wednesday morning about the case of the girl who has come to be known as Baby Kate.
In a statement, police say they plan to release details related to the use of forensic methods in the investigation.
Baby Kate was just four-and-a-half months old when she was just last seen in June of 2011.
She lived with her mother, Ariel Courtland, in Ludington.
The child's father, Sean Phillips, was sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison last year for an unlawful imprisonment in the case, which police have said they're treating as a homicide.
