(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new report shows airline passengers are getting grumpier and they have reason to be.
The Airline Quality Rankings looks at the 14 largest U.S. airlines and is based on an analysis of U.S. Department of Transportation figures.
According to research, consumer complaints surged 20 percent last year.
The report says that airlines are doing a better job with on-time arrivals and mishandled baggage.
But, consumers complained about the shrinking size of seats and more people who have bought tickets are being turned away due to overbooking.
