DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for St. Joe and Branch counties until 10 AM.  Dense fog has already been observed in many cities in West Michigan including Kalamazoo.  The ADVISORY may be expanded to include more counties.  Burning off fog this time of year is tough thanks to a low sun angle.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.

PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Two women were taken into custody early Thursday morning following a rollover crash on US-131 near Stadium.

It happened around 2AM.

A preliminary investigation shows the vehicle may have been driving at an excessive speed when the driver lost control and the vehicle flipped.

Portage Police tell Newschannel 3 the two women took off across the lanes of traffic heading SB on US-131 and into the woods.

A Kalamazoo County Sheriff's K-9 unit was brought in to help track the women.

They were located and taken into custody without further incident, we're working to learn more about the possible charges they now face.

We're told the driver was transported to a local hospital but we do not know the extent of any injuries.
