FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY is in effect this morning from 4 to 9 o'clock for all of West Michigan except the counties bordering Indiana.  Up to 1/10" of ice accumulation is possible, perhaps more near and north of I-96.  Slippery roads are likely, especially bridges, overpasses, and entrance/exit ramps.  Please be careful traveling through midday Saturday.

State Lawmakers work to honor Officer Zapata story image
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - State lawmakers are taking steps to honor a Kalamazoo Public Safety officer killed in the line of duty.

The Senate Transportation Committee considered a bill to name part of I-94 in Kalamazoo County the Officer Eric Zapata Memorial Highway.
