(NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Newschannel 3 has been looking at the problem of bullying for years.

We’ve heard the horrible stories from some of the youngest members of our community. Recently state lawmakers passed an anti-bullying measure requiring that all schools come up with policies to protect students from bullying, however we’ve found that there’s no data reporting, and no accountability.

Lawmakers tell Newschannel 3 that they really don’t have a clue whether the law is working to help children.

That’s left many parents wondering just how bad bullying is at the schools their children attend, and how does bullying mentally and emotionally impact kids for years to come.

On Sunday morning Bill Wenger, a psychologist from Borgess Medical Center, stopped by to talk about some of the issues surrounding bullying. Talking about bullying with a psychologist
