DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for St. Joe and Branch counties until 10 AM.  Dense fog has already been observed in many cities in West Michigan including Kalamazoo.  The ADVISORY may be expanded to include more counties.  Burning off fog this time of year is tough thanks to a low sun angle.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.

Third arrest made in Big Bend Apartment asasult

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan State Police announced that a third arrest has been made in a home invasion, kidnapping, and sexual assault from last month.

Curtis Wayne Hankton, 20, was arrested without incident in Grand Rapids on Monday morning.

He is charged with armed robbery, first-degree home invasion, and two felony firearms charges. He was arraigned Tuesday in Kalamazoo.

According to reports, a female victim from Big Bend Apartments, on Gull Road, was "severely beaten, sexually assaulted, robbed, and then kidnapped."

Two suspects, Danny Vinson and LaFunta Summers, were already arrested in conjunction with the incident.
