UPDATE: Newaygo standoff ends in shooter's suicide

NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Newschannel 3 has confirmed that Charles Hoover, the suspect in a double murder in Newaygo County is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Newaygo County Undersheriff Brian Boyd has identified the two victims in the case as Hoover's wife, 62-year-old Marcia Faye Hoover, and his son Charles Jr., 37.

NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police are searching for a suspected killer in northern Newaygo County.
They believe Charles Hoover shot and killed two people at his house in Newaygo County on Wednesday afternoon.
At this time, police say they don't know where Hoover is, but they say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Investigators in Newaygo County are looking for a suspect in relation to a shots fired call received early Wednesday evening.
There is little information that Newschannel 3 has been able to confirm at this time, but we do have a crew on their way to the area to look into the situation.
The suspect is described as a white male, with a stocky build and scruffy beard, in his 60s.
It is reported that the suspect may have taken off running and remains on the loose.
