New jobs are on the way in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - New jobs are on the way in Battle Creek.
Bleistahl North America has announced it is opening a manufacturing plant there.
The company makes valve train components for the automotive industry.
They plan to invest more than 11-million dollars in that new facility, which will create 58 new jobs.
There is also a pair of local job fairs on Friday.
Nearly 40 employers will be looking for new talent at the Battle Creek Regional Job Fair, from 1-4pm Friday afternoon at McCamly Plaza Hotel.
There will be on site interviews, so bring along an updated resume.
A two-day job fair event also begins Friday in Kalamazoo at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Friday’s session from 6-9pm will focus on resume writing, interviewing skills and other job seeking tips, including what ex-offenders need to know if they're looking to re-enter the workforce.
Then on Saturday at Mount Zion, more than 40 employers will be on hand looking to hire qualified candidates from 11am to 4pm on Saturday.
Bill Wright of Seelye Wright Auto Group will also be giving away a car during the event.
