Wet weather washes out roads in Branch Co.

COLDWATER, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The weather washed out roads in Branch County, closing nearly a dozen roadways Friday.
Newschannel 3 spoke to emergency management leaders who are hoping drivers will heed the warning signs.
As we interviewed the Branch County Emergency Management Coordinator near a water-covered Willowbrook Road in Coldwater, a driver decided to ignore the road closure signs and warnings to make it across.
"We don't know what's there its a river a road as you can see so whatever it decides to calling with it all will bring," said Tim Miner, Branch County Emergency Management Coordinator.
While out Friday, Newschannel 3 saw at least two buildings at risk because of those flooded roadways.
A business owner who did not want to go on camera told us she has water in her basement.
Three roadways remain closed in Branch County.
- Fisher Road between Brocklebank and Hoops Road
- Willowbrook between Fall River Drive and Whites Drive
- Gorbell Road North of Jonesville Road
