PAW PAW, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Folks in Van Buren County teamed up Saturday night to help raise money and lift the spirits of a young boy battling cancer.
5-year-old Kevin Linder was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma when he was just two years old.
He's gone through numerous rounds of chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, surgery, and radiation.
Saturday night, there was a Zumba-thon to help Kevin dance away his cancer.
"I think this means a lot to the family; it's kind of overwhelming, I think, to get the support from the community," said Zumba instructor Amy Baker. "They're going through a lot already, but this shows how much we love their family and support them as they go through this tough time."
100 percent of the proceeds will go toward Kevin's cancer treatments.
