KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Kalamazoo Growlers drew a franchise-record 6,000-plus fans for Friday night's Red, White and Boom festivities.

That figure was helped, of course, by the postgame fireworks display at Homer Stryker Field.

The Growlers are averaging just over 2,300 fans a game and currently rank third in Northwoods League attendance.
