AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Rodney Stuckey's 20 points have helped the Pistons top the LeBron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers 97-79 in Detroit's next to last preseason game.
Tayshaun Prince added 17 points and Richard Hamilton 15 Wednesday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
James participated in pregame warm ups before taking a planned night off.
Cleveland (2-5) was led by Daniel Gibson's 16 points. Mo Williams had 14 and Wally Szczerbiak (ZUR'-bee-ak) added 12.
The game was 40-40 at the half with the Pistons pulling away in the third quarter.
The final 0.7 seconds were played on a floor covered with streamers after arena workers mistakenly thought the game had ended on a Detroit 24-second violation.
Detroit (6-1) finishes the preseason at home Thursday against Atlanta.
