Broncos positive, despite loss at Purdue

Updated: Tuesday, September 2, 2014

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Western Michigan Bronco football team has an off week right away before their long pilgrimmage to Idaho on September 13.

Despite losing at Purdue, there were a lot of positive things to build on for the team.

The defeat didn't stop the team from talking positive reinforcement at the weekly news conference on Tuesday.

Coach P.J. Fleck also gave an update on star cornerback Donald Celiscar, who was injured in the opener.

He says Celiscar is still feeling some of the effects, but he expects his senior leader to play against the Vandals.
