KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - All is quiet on the gridiron front, but not for long.

The high school football season kicks off Thursday night with our first Football Fever of the year.

But Wednesday night, Newschannel 3 took a look at Kalamazoo Central.

Coach Dana Chambers and the Maroon Giants open at St. Joseph, and Kalamazoo Central will be young across the board.

Only 8 seniors return this season, after losing close to 18 from last year's 3-6 squad.

Kalamazoo Central is short on experience, but the scouting report says they are not short on talent.
