EAST LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan State continues their Friday night opener tradition when a matchup with Jacksonville State kicks off at Spartan Stadium at 7:30.

They might be an FCS school, but JSU is no joke.

The Gamecocks are ranked No. 8 in ESPN's pre-season FCS Top 25, and can move the ball, as they return 18 starters from a team that went 11-4 last year, and set 49 school records.
