Michigan's Grady will return to play Saturday
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Kevin Grady will play for Michigan this week, ending a one-game suspension.
Coach Rich Rodriguez said Wednesday the running back is a good football player and he's earned the right to play against Miami of Ohio on Saturday.
Grady was suspended before the season began. He was arrested July 2 in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming for driving with a blood-alcohol level at 0.281 percent, about three-and-a-half times the state's legal limit.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor drunken-driving charge on July 29. He was sentenced to three days in jail or 24 hours of community service. He also must serve 12 months of probation and pay $3,290 in fines and fees.
