Historic win for Wolverines

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Manny Harris, DeShawn Sims and Laval

Lucas-Perry led Michigan back from a 20-point second-half deficit

to force overtime, then took advantage of the weary Indiana

Hoosiers to pull off an improbable 72-66 victory.

Lucas-Perry finished with 18 points, Harris, the Big Ten's top

scorer, added 17 and Sims had 14 for the Wolverines (12-3, 2-1).

Indiana (5-9, 0-2) was led by Devan Dumes with 17 and Nick

Williams with 14. But it wasn't enough to avoid a fifth straight

loss, the Hoosiers' first three-game losing streak at Assembly Hall

since December 2004 or their first 0-2 start in conference play

since 1997-98.

Michigan's first win in Bloomington since 1995 even reminded

fans of how Indiana blew another 20-point lead against Lipscomb on

Dec. 28, the Hoosiers' last home game.
