Comments 0 | Recommend 0GREEN BAY (AP) - Brett Favre engineered three early touchdown drives and the Green Bay Packers tuned up for the postseason by blasting Detroit 34-13.
Favre left the game following his second touchdown pass of the game, a four-yard toss to Bubba Franks that put the 13-and-3 Packers ahead 21-3 in the first minute of the second quarter. Favre extended his quarterback-record consecutive games streak to 253 before giving way to backup Craig Nall.
Nall threw for 88 yards, including a 32-yard scoring pass to Ruvell Martin that put the Packers up 31-13 late in the third quarter.
The Lions finish the year 7-and-9 after opening with six victories in eight games. Jon Kitna was 22-of-48 for 246 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
