Opening Day in March: Tigers begin 2008 season at home against KC

DETROIT (AP) - Mark March 31st on your calendar, baseball fans.
That's when the Tigers host the Kansas City Royals in their 2008 season opener.
Detroit will host its top two draws, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, during a homestand from May 5th through the -11th.
Interleague games in Detroit include matchups with the Los Angeles Dodgers in mid-June. St. Louis and Colorado follow later in the month.
The Tigers' regular season will end with a September 28th game against Kansas City at Comerica Park.
