U.S. women gymnasts clearing red tape

The Chinese Gymnastics Association is giving the Americans permission to train at one of its gyms in Tianjian, China. The alternates are in the process of applying for visas.
Earlier, the alternates to the U.S. women's gymnastics team were denied visas to get into China and train for the summer games later this month.
The U.S. women are favored to win the gold medal in the team competition at the Olympics. The Chinese have set their sights on winning both the women's and men's team titles on their home turf.
