GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Kent County Health Department is holding a vaccination clinic Thursday to try and protect people against the deadly flu outbreak.

There have already been hundreds of deaths so far this flu season, including dozens of children.

Health officials say the best way to protect yourself and your family is to get vaccinated.

Thursday's flu shot clinic is from 8:00 to noon at the Kent County Health Department on Fuller Avenue.

It costs 25-dollars for a flu shot and 32-dollars for the nasal mist.

Medicaid and Medicare will be accepted.
