Halloween safety, there's an app for that

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Halloween can be a big night out for kids, and a big worry for parents.

But the good news is there are a number of free apps out there that can help keep the evening a safe one.

Life 360 is GPS based app that keeps tabs on the whole family in case you go your separate ways.

The FBI Child ID App allows parents to create digital profiles for children. The profile can then be given to police if the child goes missing.

And, if you think carving those pumpkins are too dangerous, try the Pumpkin Masters Official Carving App. It lets you create a jack o lantern, minus the knives and the mess.
