Man in Scotland has over 4,000 Christmas lights inside home

SCOTLAND (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man in Scotland has found the perfect way to save on his heating bill while spreading some holiday cheer.

Darrel Piper has more than 4,000 Christmas lights up in his living room.

He says they give off so much heat that it actually saves him money on his gas bill.

Although it saves him a couple of bucks, Piper says he does take them down every January when the holidays are over.
