Squats for subway rides in Moscow

MOSCOW (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A subway ticket in Moscow normally costs about 90 cents.

But now, just 30 squats are enough to ride the train.

Passengers can get one ticket by doing 30 squats within two minutes in front of a 'squat-to-ride' ticket machine.

The activity has attracted more than 140,000 passengers to participate.

It's part of an effort to support the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, which is just three months away.
