New Jersey town to vote on banning sagging pants
WILDWOOD, N.J. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - New Jersey shore town Wildwood plans to vote on a boardwalk ban on saggy pants.
Leaders of the town are cracking down their dress code, because they believe most visitors don't want to see people's rear ends hanging out.
The law was expected to pass Wednesday night.
Anyone on the boardwalk wearing pants that sag more than 3 inches below the hips, exposing either skin or underwear would be in violation.
The proposed ordinance would also require shoes and shirts on the boardwalk.
