Penn State officials headed to court
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three former Penn State officials accused of covering up Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of children are due in court Monday to see if they'll stand trial.
Prosecutors say former Penn State President Graham Spanier, former Vice President Gary Schultz and ex-Athletic Director Tim Curley all knew about the allegation against Sandusky, but chose to cover it up instead of alerting police.
Spanier, Schultz and Curley all claim they did not know the allegation was of a sexual nature.
They each face misdemeanor charges, along with a felony perjury charge.
Monday a judge will decide if there's enough evidence to send them to trial.
Sandusky is serving 30 to 60 years in prison after being convicted last year.
