Trial continues for former Army psychiatrist
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Testimony continues Wednesday in the trial of the man accused of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in the Fort Hood shooting spree.
Major Nidal Hasan is acting as his own lawyer and said Tuesday in his opening statement the evidence will clearly show he is the shooter.
The former Army psychiatrist is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder for the shooting spree at Fort Hood in November of 2009.
If convicted, Hasan could face the death penalty.
