Louisiana man plays 'Grand Theft Auto' for real
BATON ROUGE, La. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana say a 20-year-old went on a violent crime spree because he wanted to see what it felt like to play real-life Grand Theft Auto.
They say Zachary Burgess jumped into the driver's seat of an idling truck and drove off, forcibly holding a female passenger inside.
The woman was able to jump out before police say Burgess rammed 9 other vehicles.
Now, he's facing multiple hit and run charges, as well as kidnapping and stealing a truck.
