Still waiting for a rescue

SYDNEY (AP) - They're still waiting to be rescued. Passengers on board a research ship that's been trapped in Antarctic ice for a week expect to be rescued by helicopter, but the chopper has to wait for an expected break in weather on Wednesday.

Three icebreakers have tried to reach the vessel, but have failed.

There are 74 scientists, tourists and crew on the Russian ship, which has been stuck since Christmas Eve.
