Wind making for dangerous conditions in North Dakota

NORTH DAKOTA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - High gusts and blowing snow are creating dangerous travel conditions in North Dakota.

Wind gusts of more than 50 miles per hour made for near zero visibility on roadways.

A No Travel Advisory is in effect for the northeastern part of the state, and drivers are being encouraged to stay at home.

The wind chill is expected to plunge to -50 overnight.

There is good news, though, as the powerful winds are expected to die down Sunday.
