Students using new ways to sneak marijuana into class

COLORADO (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Students are finding new and creative ways to sneak marijuana into Colorado schools.

Since the state legalized the drug, students across Colorado have been using vapor pens that allow them to smoke without giving off the drug's distinctive smell.

The pen is similar to an e-cigarette and can be bought for $25 in grocery stores.

"I've even seen a couple times, I've seen people in my math class and they'll be sitting there with the teacher and they'll be smoking it and they won't even know," said student Jack Maestas.

Vapor pens aren't the only things students are using to get high in class, either.

Students are also using inhalers and edibles to hide the signs of marijuana.
