Students in one N.J. district still go to class on snow days

MONTVALE, N.J. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kids at one New Jersey school district still go to class on snow days.

Instead of stepping outside to catch the bus, students in Montvale head to a virtual classroom.

It's an effort by the district to avoid make-up days.

Students log on at 8:00 a.m., and go until 3:00 p.m., like a normal school day.

The school says students are already used to learning online, and they don't seem to mind.
