N.J. teen charged with trespassing for accessing spire of One World Trade Center

NEW YORK (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A New Jersey teenager is being charged with trespassing after apparently gaining access to the top of One World Trade Center in the middle of the night to take pictures.

It's believed 16-year-old Justin Cassquejo eluded what was thought to be impenetrable security by dressing as a construction worker.

He then slipped past a sleeping security guard--who has since been fired--and squeezed through a hole no more than a foot wide.

Once near the spire, Cassquejo stayed for two hours.

He was spotted by a construction worker while leaving the site, and was arrested.

He has been charged with trespassing, and faces 90 days in jail.
