Police release surveillance video of arson in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police have released shocking surveillance video showing two people dousing a puppy boutique with gasoline and lighting it on fire.

It happened January 27 at Prince and Princess Puppies and Boutique in Las Vegas.

27 puppies were trapped in their cages when police say store owner Gloria Lee and her accomplice Kirk Bills started the fire.

Thankfully, the building's sprinkler and alarm system kicked in saving all of the puppies.

Investigators say Lee wanted insurance money.

She and Bills are now facing a slew of charges, including first degree arson and attempted cruelty to animals.
